does anyone know if its illegal to contain a drug in your body in the UK and the US? and what would be the consequences of being tested positive by the police or customs?

common sense says that it indicates possession in the past. however the exact time of possession is not shown, therefore the country of residence at the time cannot be found.

i am well aware of the fact that people can lose their jobs or get expelled from their schools or sports teams and they can lose their driving license. but i have never heard of a story of someone being arrested or fined for simply testing positive.

I'm pretty sure here in UK they cant do you for shit except posession.

I was trying to find information about that on the internet and couldnt.. what makes you "pretty sure" ? Maybe they are just not arresting people , but they still have the right to... there is a difference.
