There's no point being anti-Government just for the sake of it ToneDef. Obviously the only reason the Government does anything is to win over the public, (or to make money), but still banning smoking is a good step. You can't deny that smoking is bad for you, and by banning it the Government is actually fulfilling its purpose of protecting us (well, to a certain extent anyway).

Yeah it's obviously bad for you. And yes there will be benefits for non smokers.

My 'beef' with the government though is that their reasons for doing anything are not for anyones benefit but their own.

It's like if the government discovered a cure for cancer. It would be great, but they've always got their own agenda. Every little thing they do is for their own benefit.

One thing they could do to maybe slightly impress me would be to legalise all drugs.
