Seven Swans is a strong second.

seven swans is his fourth record. sufjan's humility and simple honesty about his faith is beyond astounding. it's about time an independent artist gave christianity good press.

i could argue with you about why greetings from michigan is a much better record than illinois but there's no point because they're both equally beautiful in their moments.

i would definitly recommend seven swans for sufjan virgins. his voice has more space to express itself with less instrumentation. better melodies, too.

i remember when i first heard illinois. i was blown away. he's nothing short of brilliant. it is a great triumphant record, and so is greetings from michigan.

on some days, i do see illinois as being better. nothing has been as good as seven swans though.

Anyways, I saw Kitty Wu last night, it was awesome !
After the show the drummer walked over to me, smiled and nodded to me and threw his sticks at me, but, some idiot reached over and grabbed one of them, so I only got the one. I'd love to punch his teeth out, but I thought, hell, let him have it

I chatted with Kasper Eistrup (vocals) and Henrik Lindstrand (keyboard, guitar) of Kashmir. They're hella cool guys. Very down to earth.

Anyways, I hope you alll check out Kitty Wu. Amazing melancholic Indie act.
