Right on. 'In a Sweater poorly Knit' rocks my socks every time. Love that song. They couldn't have picked a better album ender.

Jerry_Curls

Nothing short of amazing. Folk / Indie / A little dash of core elements at times. He sings like he is reading poetry, the lyrics are amazing as always. It's like Catch for Us the Foxes, but more Indie and beautiful. Check it out, Curly.

It seems they ALWAYS pick the best choice for an album ender.
On '[A->B] Life' last song is 'Cure for Pain'. It is just perfect ender, those two minutes after 'Jesus, have mercy on Us' (which is a very very VERY good line to end an album with) are just so beautiful.
They once even made me cry, honestly. It was such moment.

On 'Catch for Us the Foxes' it is 'Son of a Widow'. Also a beautiful song, last lines also refers to an end ('where did his soul go when he died again?'). Ah, that is SO beautiful.

I guess mewithoutYou are even becoming more 'my favourite band' than Deftones. Of course, until Saturday Night Wrist. Then, I hope, the feeling of Deftones will grow on me again.

But anyways. For me 'Catch for Us the Foxes' is the best one. 'The Soviet' is the most beautiful song ever made by mwY.
Ah.
I could write about that for days.

Paint Your Lips

I agree with you somewhat, man. :) But, def. not on 'The Sovjet'.

My list goes:
1. (A) to (B) Life
(classic, 'Gentlemen', 'Be Still Child', 'Silencer' and 'Cure for the Pain' are ever so amazing. 'In a Sweater poorly Knit' is the only song that comes close to them).

2. Brother, Sister
(It's just a great direction for them to go. The songs are more beautiful less rock-ish, as oppose to 'Catch for Us the Foxes'. And the Interludes, the Spider tracks are killer, haha)

3. Catch for Us the Foxes
(Still doesn't please me as much as the other two. 'Son of a Widow' is amazing, almost made me cry once. But, the more straight rock sound just doesn't work for me. But, it's still a great fucking album, don't get me wrong ! :) )

I love all the albums, this was just to show what MWY sound that pleases me most.

I haven't listened to Deftones in ages. Hoping the new album gets my loving for them back aswell.

Yeah, I understand you well.
We all have our favourite and the least favourite songs ;)
And I never knew it is 'The Sovjet', I thought it was 'The Soviet (the Foxes)'..
Strange.
Anyways.
You are right about the 'Catch for Us the Foxes' base rock sound. It is more song-by-song album, while 'Brother, Sister' and '(A) to (B) Life' are more as one piece works like Tool or whatsoever bands play.
But I like 'Catch for Us the Foxes' more because of the autumn mood, lyrics and songs played.
Well, but just as I said - everyone has their own choices :D

And therefore I will ask, are there any bands that play such beautiful music as mwY? Anything close to that?

You're right, i made a typo, hehe.

It depends on what you're looking for. Just beautiful music, or agressive music with beautiful elements?
