I'm listening to it again to see if it has any good replay value, and i actually like it even more.  i dont remember a catchier album in my life.

the lyrics can be weak in parts, but the music is amazing.

Of course you do. It's pop-ish and straight forward. Not complicated or artistic as say; 'And the Glass Handed Kites', haha.

That being said, it's just too safe and ... Polished for my taste. I don't mind catchy, but, you can over do it. I like the feel to the old stuff more. Not saying the album is bad or anything. Some songs are really cool, but ... Yeah. Too polished.

Oh, and i really dislike the use of choir parts.

and for the record, 'artistic' or experimental music isnt nessecarily better music.

weird sounds and highpitched vocals doesnt make a band better. you seem to have that impression.
