If you like real emo, and i'm talking about mid 90's true, original emo, then check out this amazing act.

Only one song. Called Main.In.Vine. It's the only song recorded

i LOVED it. totally. i need more music like this, it has so much in it. i mean, man, wow.
this is awesome.

Get this album. It's a bit harder when it comes to the vocal, a bit of screaming. But, I totally love this album.

The third song, "If I Knew Numbers (The Stalemate)" is amazing. Get into this.

These days i'm really fond of modern post-punk bands, like Interpol (awesome), Bloc Parrty, DFA1979, Franz Ferdinand's s/t album is also growing on me these days (well, tastes differ), some The Bravery's songs are impressing me. What would you advise me to try from post-punk world?

OTMOP is some great stuff. they disbanded a few years back, and I got to see them on their last tour ever. the set lasted just under 45minutes, but while other bands need two hours to reach that intensity, 45 minutes were enough to make it one of the best concerts I've attended.

Paint Your Lips

Sounds nice, Blackie. Wish I could have seen them.

No way. I've known SDRE for ages now. And they've never felt as good listening to as Days in December or On the might of Princes. Or countless other emo bands..

theis

well, it's still a common known fact that they're one of the original emo bands of the 90's.

Actually, it is quite amazing.
I once again found I love these bands, that have this 'vine' feeling. No idea how to describe it.
Bands like mewithoutYou, Minus the Bear or the same Days in December have that feeling.
I love it.

Paint Your Lips

Right, now go get something with these bands:
