I know theyre bad, but it's catchy and funny at the same time because they're so horrible. Like whats up with their guitarist and his oversized clothes?

Hahahah jerry.. you crack me up! Did you know the oversize-clothes boy and the singer are twins?

I'm still waiting for the new Circa. And just got myself the new Kaddisfly. <3

Which type of postpunk is meant by the title of this topic? The true post punk or post punk revival like The Strokes, Franz Ferdinand, Editors, The Rapture, etc?

If you guys like Franz Ferdinand, check out the band they ripped off, Josef K.

Which Strokes album is your favorite?
..Yeah don't go there,

I let you get to me

AERIAL - The Sentinel

Genre: Indie

01. Heads gone
02. My god, it's full of stars
03. 46th street
04. Walk with me
05. You will all die, all things will
06. Youth and student travel
07. The dark star deleters
08. Secret godess
09. Star-lit stairs

http://www.mediafire.com/?9nnn2ghizyl

This second long-player from symphonic Swedish rockers Aerial sees the band curtailing their expansive compositions of old in favour of shorter (yet no less ambitious) songs. Sentinel features a stronger vocal presence than its predecessor, with opener 'Heads Gone' featuring some densely layered harmonies that usher into the Explosions In The Sky-style cinematics of 'My God, It's Full Of Stars'. 'Youth and Student Travel' shows the band aren't all about grandiose guitar-based post-rock gestures, with its understated faded drones segueing nicely between the more conventionally epic pieces on the album. There's an uncommon clarity and crispness to these compositions, not only in terms of their comparatively reined-in, economical durations and structuring, but the instrumentation itself, which is presented with an incredible brightness and presence. Excellent stuff.
