I agree. And I am in no way or shape under that impression. I know, as well as you should know by now, that there's crap bands in all genres.

Haha. I really like the instrumental side of it. And the main vocal, just not the many chorus choirs. And at times, it's a bit too pop-ish.

As said before, i dig the atmosphere and sound more on the older stuff.

Oh, and i really dislike the use of choir parts.

one of the best things about the album man. it's so catchy, both music and vocals. most people I talked to said they don't like the new tracks they've heard so far too much, and that it doesn't sound nearly as good as the EP... seriously, I like the fact that they moved away from this 'drums over any other instrument'-sound. it feels good.

It's just too pop. It's like; 'Laaaa laaaa laaaa'. One vocal is all it needs. Choir is cool when it isn't overdone, but on this record it just sounds redundant.

Haha, didn't expect you liking it. I have to admit, it's catchy. I get ear candys from it all the time. But this whole genre gets fucking old and I think their EP really was much, much better. And it's not about the Cove-Anthony discussion. Musically it was way better than this I think. Whatever. I don't get the hype. It's all about the name.

I agree, Dan. The album is just too 'sweet and sugary' to me. It's not something i can listen to a lot. But, i love the EP.

to be fair, i do agree that TTN is better.  They are supposedly releasing an ep in half a year that is faster and heavier (doesnt mean screaming, just...crazy riffs).

The new Thursday album is something I've been needing to buy for a while now, supposedly it's more experimental am I right? Somebody I know was telling me about it, and how it's almost in the same sorta vein as what Thrice did with 'Vheissu', which is a good thing!
