i guess Adrenalin had really awfull production. The Guitars were over scooped and the vocals werent strong enough and Chino had an accent on that album...the audio quality on that album sucked!

so in order it goes Adrenaline, then ATF, the white pony for me.

Really its quite impossible to determine which if the better/ or rather my favourite of the four albums... depends on my mood.
Thats the major appeal of Deftones for me.

Around The Fur

i remember borrowing it from my friend back in 9th grade. the only reason why i wanted to borrow it was because of Be Quiet And Drive. cause i was playing that Dave Mirra BMX game and i'd always choose that song. so i listened to the whole album and i loved it. until the cd shattered and i bought a new one. it's my favorite cause i attached a lot of memories to it and i just like it a bit better than everything else.

You know it's weird and tuff to choose, because I really love all the albums. I remember exactly where I was and what i was doing the very fisrt time I heard Be Quiet and Drive and also Change. Man the first time I heard Change I got goose bumps, it was awesome.
 Even though I love other elements and other certian songs from other albums more, I would have to say that White Pony was the real turning point for me in getting really into the Deftones.

White Pony because it's different and more melodic than the other albums plus it has my fave 'Tones song Korea on it.

i really dig adrenaline. i thout it a little high, pitch wise, for me in places.  terriffic tunes with definite guitar parts.  but my fav album would have to be fur.  the riffs and use of dissonance is sic!!  album will always be special to me cause i was in a grocery store looking at metal mags when a family came in looking also at metal mags.  turned out to be chi's family!  his younger sister was actually the one who turned me on to the fur album.  i felt really stupid not knowing anything about the deftones music!  do-oh.  just thought i'd share.

Around the Fur is definitely my favorite album. It used to be Adrenaline, but the songs can get a little repetetive sometimes (i still love that album though).

My second favorite would be S/T. All the songs on that album just flow so perfectly together. Hexagram and Bloody Cape are two of the best Deftones songs.

On third place we find Adrenaline, yeah it moved from a first to a third. Like i said, a little repetetive, but still a kickass album.

White Pony on fourth place. It may be their most "talented" album, but definitely not their best.. imo.

It's funny cause Around the Fur used to be my least favorite.
