The window between them teasing the new album and its release is consistently about 3-4 months. All the snake stuff obviously seems to be tied to the new album, and there is the Roskilde article, but it seems to me as though something happened in the meantime that changed their plans completely. Everything is super up in the air rn which is why I'd kill for just an update on how the album is going. Doesn't need to be anything grandiose.

Team Sleep just because it would be a lot rarer. We have so much Deftones music and not a lot of Team Sleep.

Deftones, although if Team Sleep came back and wrote a record within the lo-fi realm they initially intended to inhabit, that would be pretty damn cool.
