Yeah this is as clear as it gets. Im sticking to my original theory but tbh with the way the right side of the logo is dark, they might hide some kinda message where you gotta combine this image with whatever will be on the right side. Nice edit btw

Yeah, I dont wanna repeat what I said in my original post but it just looks like the insides of some animal. After the fact I looked up what a snake's mouth looks on google and it kinda looks similar but not really ...

I have been pretty doubtful of this being anything except different tour aesthetics, but you all are making me start to believe it could be album related. I mean.......that snake tongue logo is kinda all over the place. I'm no expert on tour promotions, but I don't think bands usually create random logos for tours. Especially one so simple but iconic looking. It feels like it has a purpose. Another animal themed aesthetic, especially a purple snake, is 100% a thing Deftones would do. It gets me pretty excited because I see colors in my mind when I hear music, especially Deftones. Almost always the song's "colors" match the album artwork.

Even if it turns out to be nothing, it is something for now and get to wonder what a white/light purple Deftones track might sound like

Ehh it could be all tour related if I'm being realistic. That being said if I've learned anything about Deftones it's that they love playing with contrasts. The snake here is no exception being a dangerous animal but almost alluring with its purple skin.

Edit: all things considered though, they're using 'Beware' for this promo post, so I guess something is indeed coming soon (except if it's really all for the tour but that'd admittedly be a whole lot of work for it)

Edit 2: No really it could be all for the tour. I can't fucking believe I almost got myself on the hook for this band again lol. I already said a spring/early summer release would make the most sense and we're practically there
