Has the entire forum heard this fucking thing except 976-EVIL and me  ;D

Everyone give it up for those two!

Ps - It's not White Pony. Nothing else ever will be. For example my favourite records are ATF and WP (if I had to choose only two records). This is just different. It will take time to sink in to where you would slot it into your rankings. I await your appraisal upon listening.
It's just different and it flows really well.

everyone is, really. huge kudos to everyone in the band, this might be the best work from every one of them yet. I really hope they get a lot of new fans from this, they totally deserve it.

the hyper dissonant guitars + crazy hi hats groove in the verses for This Link is Dead with Chino rap-screaming on top just sounds soooooooo hype, for real

aight, after two listens imma refrain from listening to it now until the official release, still wanna give the band the hype streams. two more days
i'm confused??

Albums fucking sick, should be illegal for them to do albums with anyone but Terry Date. Each song is really interesting, Gore had a lot of different ideas that I found found really intriguing but the songs themselves were sort of locked into that one idea and as a album it just wasn't very cohesive, This one is more cohesive as an album and each song stands on it's own  merit with unique traits and different elements to keep it interesting.

Guitars are more dynamic, Bass is more melodic and present in mix, Abe is groovy as fuck, Frank is doing  more cool shit (that you can actually here more now) and Chino is smashing it with the vocal changes and melodies

These guys should be seriously proud for putting an album like this out so far into their careers, the longevity of these guys is crazy, looks like we choose the right band to be fanboys of.

Penicks

on first listen, pompeji really stood out, thinking this might be a grower cause not blown my load yet

Playhouse

I'm speechless with this album.
Man.
Those who said that old classic sound and aggression was gone.
How god dam wrong you were.
Chino is reminding me so much of s/t vocally throughout this whole thing.
So much to unpack.

You're a star, You blaze

Inkblades

Running through it again and this has to be the heaviest album of the Sergio era and probably the heaviest since S/T. The riffs are so chunky and crunchy on every song and Chino even screams on the most ballad-like songs lol.

for real, they revolutionized the genre 20 years ago, this late in their carreer they could just keep it safe and stick to repeating the style that made them big and still maintain a pretty solid fanbase, but it seems like they just can't keep from reinventing themselves. really outstanding

Haha yeah, on first listen I kept getting caught out. It reminds me of the old interviews from  the last couple of albums where a band member was quoted saying something along the lines of "we turned away from our instincts and tried to do the unexpected" but it actually feels like it on this album

Gaz

Wow, go to bed and wake up to more pages!

I guess I'm going to be blasting something out working at home today.......

Antonch

Will there be elimination's threads?

Inkblades

Some really, really cool chords on Radiant City's chorus...

Gaz

Would someone be so kind as to send me a google drive link to  the album?

No asking for leaks.

This album is both instantly brilliant yet deep and complex.  It's a bit of a paradox. someone basically said the same thing above. it's definitely a grower but there is almost nothing that is disappointing either.it's really hard to find the words to describe this sound. after few listens I think I can safely say it exceeded the hype, and my hype was fuking through the roof. for those that are holding out for another day oh my goodness you're in store for something special.

also I don't think it's a stretch to say that Genesis and Holmes are the weakest tracks on the album. But even then they sound so so much better in context of the full album. it's hard to say where this will rank as time passes, but this will at least be considered one of their most strongest and consistent albums. there's not a track that's even remotely worth skipping IMO.
When people whisper it makes her nervous.
