amazon hasn't given me any tracking data either. so i'm worried i might not get the album on the 25, so i'm just gonna listen to the leak. it's a tradition at this point, i never can hold off until the album. last time i came close was i left like 5 songs unheard for WP release.

I agree. It's just the frustration that's come out of having spent so much time protecting this thing so to speak, I was really hoping for a no-leak. It did brilliantly.

It's been pretty buttoned up around here, so you did your part. Not much you can do about people taking pics of the actual CD in other places. Fans that get their deftones kicks from different spots on the internet would have been exposed to the happenings regardless

It's technically only 34 hours from being released on NZ spotify - that's pretty impressive.

Headline: 'New employee and record store accidentally breaks embargo'.

That's bullshit. It's more like 'Hey remember how you owe me money? or remember that secret I've been keeping for you for all these years?' to an employee or someone in the distro chain. That would be more likely.

On first listen, while This Link Is Dead is definitely heavy, the verses of Radiant City are actually the heaviest moments on Ohms ooof

9/10 after the 1st time tru it. Gotta listen a couple more times to have a better take on things, so take this with a grain of salt.

WITH THAT BEING SAID:

It has the potential to be revered as much (if not more) as WP, IMHO. Yeah.. is THAT good.

I leave the for a few hours and come back to 13 new pages and I'm like, "yep it leaked"... They really did a fine job of containing the leak for this long, I applaud them for that.

I made a choice to wait since it's on my birthday and it'd be sacrilege to listen to a shitty leak. So, you fuckers enjoy the album I'll see you all Friday to share our thoughts.
