I think its about humanty/evolution/tech and its relation with nature.

The man who walks within the ruins would represent humanity and the long red cape lady represents mother nature.At the end of the video they have a  reconciliation.

Its just my opinion.

That's a good take and sort of matches up with what Chino said about the song.
