Guess there should be a thread ahead of the 20th anniversary of this masterpiece.

This is a pretty extensive piece out today featuring the whole band, Terry Date, Jonah Matranga and a bunch of other people

The "This is Deftones" spotify playlist has been updated.

They updated the photo to a white and red background and the White Pony logo, and they also put White Pony from top to bottom before any other songs. No Back to School.

Twenty years of my favourite album of all time. What a fucking record.

It's time to ride the White Pony.

Not trying to make this too much about fashion (which I should ignore), but the "bored, disgruntled employee" look Chino had when White Pony dropped was pretty memorable. Especially the clip-on tie lol.

Happy birthday to both him and White Pony. Thank you for the gift of this timeless masterpiece which sounds just as brand new as it did 20 years ago.

Really well said!  Always loved the tie disheveled, drunk-after-work look.  I think it was worn during June/July 2000.  Other fav "attires" are the kung-fu look from Ozzfest 99 and the blue Air Jordan t-shirt from the '03 fall tour.

Anyone pick up any of the anniversary merch? I got a flag and the 3/4 sleeve shirt.

This picture seems to be from that show, but that's about it. Don't know what's up with the iPad header:

This one looks to be that show, too.

Here's another pic of "I just my walked off my security guard job to become a rock star"-era Chino:

Hope that helps.
