Deftones Confirmed Shows Discussion OLD

That would be too good to be true. Also, I just read that Linkin Park, my other favorite band, is going to do Rock in Rio USA. If this means they're going to tour together, well... I could die happy. :-D Does anyone know in which weekend (first or second) Deftones will play?

This may be a tad early, but since Rock am Ring doesn't have Deftones among their headliners (yet), doesn't anyone else expect them to do either a European club tour, or some smaller festivals? Both options would be very good for me. Considering the upcoming album launch, they can't just skip Europe, I suppose, so what do you guys think about this?

@Deffur: Aren't they always a bit late, when it comes to making announcements? Or at least usually? Like, they announced a February tour last year in December, as I recall. I guess we'll have to be patient, especially with the Team Sleep album coming out at the beginning of 2015. I think Deftones may postpone their album to spring 2015, but I may be wrong, of course.

I guess we're all getting tired of waiting 'round here, regardless of what country we live in... I'm a communication student and believe me: as much as I love them, Deftones' communication makes me very, very sad. So maybe we're in the same situation. As much as I would love to be planning on following them around Europe, I'll have to wait and waiting sucks.

They should come to Rock am Ring. Their lineup is already good, but not 'totally worth it' yet. I'd love to see Body Count and Ice-T, though. Slipknot, Hollywood Undead, Godsmack and Papa Roach are pretty fine with me!

Also, they should come to Download, together with those nu-bands that make you want to spike your hair and grow a goatee. <3 I'm talking the worst, most obnoxious, mini-stage bands that we're all ashamed of liking, together with some hit (ex-)nu acts, like Linkin Park and Limp Bizkit. Deftones should be a part of the '15 Nu Metal Revival, man. That would be best.

It seems that Deftones may be touring some smaller, lesser known or newer European festivals. Perhaps they'll skip those like Download and go to Rockavaria, Der Grüne Hölle and Graspop/Fortarock instead. A late May/early June tour now seems possible, also due to the recently announced Rock in Rio appearance.

Deftones playing Around The Fur in it's entirety at Amnesia Rock-Fest in Quebec this year. First time in about 5 years I'll miss them...
