I will probably attend one of the festivals in Germany, most likely Rock'N'Heim on August 17th. Anyone else as well?

I hope they play more shows in switzerland.

I remember in 2010 on the Diamond eyes tour, there was only (as usual from big bands when they play in switzerland) one show announced.
At the end, they played 3 shows here.

Does anyone know what's going on with the Seoul, Korea date?

The tickets were up for sale here http://ticket.interpark.com/Global/Play/Goods/GoodsInfo.asp?GoodsCode=13001560

They wern't sold out - the webpage showed the number of tickets left and there were almost 1,000 left.

But now the show has been taken off sale and the event has been removed from the list of events on the website.

The gig was never officially confirmed on deftones' page, but it was on Slash's.... I'm under the impression that the concert may have been cancelled because of lack of sales.

Can anyone confirm / deny this?

Nope

- Slash is still coming on the same date but has just downgraded the venue to a smaller one
- The political situation, and travel advice for Americans, has essentially not changed
- The date was never officially confirmed by deftones. It was confirmed on Slash's official page, tickets had been on sale for a month or so, and posters had gone up around town. This makes me think that Deftones (as headliners of the gig) were waiting out on ticket purchases to see whether it would be worth coming. Either that, or travel arrangements / schedule for Ozzfest Japan the next day got changed and so made the date unachievable.

I'm pretty pissed, I was going to fly out to Japan to see them, but cancelled my trip when they announced the Seoul date. I've seen them on every album tour since 2000. Don't know how I'm going to get to see them this time round now. Prices for flights and accommodation in Tokyo are now mad $$$$
