For real. Unpopular opinion here, but to be honest I think Gore had better songs than Koi No Yokan and definitely Diamond Eyes. What brought it down was the lackluster production. I hope they remaster it one day like they did the old albums.

ok chino always associates colors to music. But complete black, doesn't mean brutal.

Imo his best stuff may have been on a 7 string. There was that perfect balance between melody and heaviness. Hexagram main riff will probably be my favorite until they split, it's fucking beautiful.

Interesting that they're not being announced for any summer festivals right now. Presume this means that they're looking at an autumn release date.

All the major European ones have been announced though. If it was coming out before then they'd be on them now. A late year release date, or at least a post-summer one seems more likely, with them doing the major festivals the next year.

There's an interview with Chino in this week's Kerrang. They seem to still to be very much in the writing stage from the way he was talking. They are back writing in their Sacramento rehearsal space for the first time in about a decade interestingly.

Purely speculation - I think they record sometime in the next few months for an end of year release.
