Hey all!

I'm a musical production student, and I covered Battle-Axe from scratch.

Let me know what you think.

Great Cover man, you did the song justice.
I will say that the snare sounds a bit too wet in places ( to me, the reverb almost sounds like a voice ).

Lucas_Moreno

Thank you all for the comments! It means a lot to me.
If anyone wants, I'll up the instrumental track.

I got ya.. But let me get this more clear... Are you referring to the snare reverb?

Yeah mate, it sounds like there's a lot of bounce/spring. I know it's there in the original and all though. Did you record the drums or program them?

I see..
I programmed in MIDI via AddictiveDrums2.

Thank you! I'll up the instrumentals soon and post it here.

If you're going to post the instrumental can you also post the raw files? I enjoy mixing music as a hobby. Drum Midi (i use superior drummer) guitars, bass, vocals, fx. You can zip it into a rar or zip file. BTW great job!

Far away

Great version man, wasn't expecting it. Keep it up!

The intro always reminded of Nirvana, even more obvious here lol

Hahah maybe it's the chors/darky effect of the intro..
Thanks for that!

Well done! That's by far the closest I've heard anybody come to Deftones (esp self titled). Keep up the good work mate!

Hey dude, thank you for that! I'm proudly vocals/guitar at Deftones Tribute Brazil, so mimic Chino Moreno is my hobby ;)
