Atlan:
We ran a survey from recent photographs
Of Venus to see the planet surface after
A major volcanic eruption we caught from
Space weeks ago. From the satellite images
We took, it looks the lava channels have
Carved out a pattern, geometric in fact,
And the magma on surface looks to glow
Brighter in places you wouldn't think
Normal, and the entire scene has turned
Into something of a wonder.

Thera:
I would like to see the images. If what you say
Is true, then by all means we should fund a mission.
Please, send me the photos of the magma patterns.

We have news, Thera. An unexplained phenomenon
Has happened on Venus. All was calm watching the
Lava patterns from the satellite, but, now, it
Appears the lava channels were a net, as tons
Of rock from the planet surface are being dragged
Back into crater. The heavy satellite currently
Under way can not arrive soon enough.

The surface of the central rock pool has continued
Getting hotter, but now has reached temperatures
Beyond what we ever imagined a planet's core could
Ever get. This is alarming, yet exciting,
Because it could change our interpretations of
Core studies among planets. This is now one of
The most anticipated field studies in ages,
And to think we are on still on the verge of discovery.
