I like it after a bunch of listens. It definitely brings me back to the way some of ATF and WP sounded with the way they did hard mixed with harmony in the songs and such (to a degree) but obviously sounds different too.

Also some of the sound of the guitar, to me, finally sounds a bit closer to the old Deftones sound that kind of went away after SNW. Specifically in the guitar.

Wasn't expecting the vocals to be like that. Too early to tell but does sound like Chino wasn't lying about them trying to be more unpredictable on this record. Very, very excited.

Oh my god yes. Very unexpected vocals, but I like it. So far with every bit of information we've had about the album, I've been quite surprised. I think they're definitely running with their desire to experiment and purposely take things in a different direction than they usually would. I'm not getting a dark vibe from this particular clip, but it's just a small teaser of one song out of an entire album. I'm expecting it to have at least elements of darkness, considering what Chino said, and considering the album title.
