So does anyone know how the cover got leaked in the first place if that is the cover? I'm confused.. And do we think we'll be getting more snippets of the song or just a full song coming up in the next few days? Hmm..!

When they released the snippet I was able to open shazam and listen to the clip and it found the track in their database along with a small version of the album cover (obviously this shouldn't have been up yet). I think they planned on doing the album 1/9 a day release thing so now we basically get to sit around and wait for them to get that out of their system.

Exactly. This was the record company's marketing strategy all along, except they continue to fail to realize that fans are rabid and MUCH smarter than they are and will crack the nut long before the record labels give them credit for. So they're left holding the bag.

The Shazam album cover/tracklisting leak reminds me of Massive Attack's new EP getting "accidentally" uploaded to a Dutch music service last week, where it was bought and downloaded by numerous people before it got taken down, and it immediately started making the rounds. FFS, how do you "accidentally" release an album for sale ahead of its due date?

Same deal with the Entertain Me film: shit's out there now, and everyone who wants it bad enough will be able to get their hands on it, regardless of what the record company wants or tries to do. You can't put the proverbial toothpaste back in the tube once its out

The 30 secs of the Prayers/Triangles sound clip is the epitome of tease haha. I literally can not tell anything about the song except for it sounds pretty cool. I can not wait to hear the rest of it. I hope the speculation of a single release at the end of revealing all of the album cover is true. The sooner the better in my opinion, but I would find it surprising if they did since the album release is April 8th. It just seems early even though I could see them playing it at their up coming shows before the release.

OK? I didn't realize the "us vs the music industry" mentality was still a thing. If they didn't benefit bands they wouldn't sign up. Obviously there are disadvantages but I highly doubt they care that 50 rabid fans from a forum figured out what the cover art looks like 9 days before they release it.

I finally got to hear the clips, they sound really good- sounds like they really stretched themselves on this one. I don't want to over-estimate but but I think this Album will be a pleasant surprise to a lot of us. Maybe this is the album the post-chi deftones really mature their sound.

If anyone is bored and you have good sound editing skills then I wouldn't mind if you took those clips Chuck posted and put them on a loop and uploaded it. It would be cool to hear the riffs over and over again, especially in that 2nd clip. It would be kind of like getting another 30 second teaser

The weirdest thing happened when I downloaded those clips. They automatically downloaded straight to my iphone from my laptop when I plugged it in to charge it over night. When I was jamming to Deftones on the way to work those files automatically loaded right into my Deftones albums on my iphone. When I download other songs without using itunes it usually does not recognize the band.
