I was actually going to say, some of the high guitar parts actually sound like they are trying to turn Deftones into Coldplay. lol.  I'm still not sold on the album but I like it ok.  Only time will tell where I rank it among the others but I don't see it being in the top half for me.

I catch your drift, but I see absolute zero Coldplay influence with this album lol

chino has said himself he dislikes coldplay. but i'll be honest...phantom bride reminds me a teeny bit of coldplay.

Stone me now, but Phantom Bride is my least favorite on this album for that reason. It doesn't sound like Coldplay though, just sounds like a deep cut from a RHCP/SP album (minus the weird ending).

agreed. click on doomed user then click on another one..you'll hear the difference in volume, treble etc. nice find thou man..thought we had it there.
