I never could figure out what the tie in was with the paper airplanes and the header.

What bothers me with this artwork is that it's too well done: a picture of a girl with a blurry effect and shady colors, it's typical SNW/Team Sleep/Crosses or even KNY in terms of mood. Besides, it pops up from we barely know where just one day after the presumed tracklist leaks. It almost looks like Deftones themselves are spreading the rumors. As much as I'd like to believe it's genuine, it looks too much like something (really well) made by a fan.

Rumors said there was some truth to the tracklist/album title, maybe they're just working titles. I don't know, but Gore would certainly fit in well with an album that Chino said is darker and less optimistic-sounding than the last two. Kind of a boring title, but ah well. This is cool, it's getting very exciting, I just hope we hear some official news soon. It's long overdue.

I feel like it is almost time go to into Deftones-red-alert mode. Set up Deftones Youtube, Twitter, this forum and Google News for a 5-10 min autorefresh. Yeah, I'm that guy.

On a somewhat side note.......Does anyone else get a bit anxious that they might actually be disappointed by the new single? Happens to me every time but I was only ever disappointed somewhat by Tempest. I love every single Deftones album. There are maybe 7 or 8 album songs in total I do not care for. It's not that I enjoy it just because it is Deftones. They just always hit the spot for me. I am well aware that there could be an entire album that disappoints me. Hopefully that day never comes.

I've never been worried. There are some songs I don't really like, but very very few. I don't know, they always make music I love. Maybe some songs need to grow on me more than others, but I've never been worried that the direction they go in, or the song they'll release to us first, will disappoint me.

Ugh, I'm so excited now, I hope it's not long.
