you guys are seriously implying they'll release something today

Considering they said January 15th single, yes.
They never said. A website said.

Anybody have the link?
http://kfmx.com/deftones-onsale-date-moved-to-january-15th/

the page has been since removed.

The article said something along the lines of "to coincide with the release of the band's new single, the onsale date for tickets to the show in Lubbock has been moved to January 15th." That page stayed up for close to a month but was removed 5 days ago. I understand it was never anything official from the band but I imagine they had some kind of information. They likely didn't just make it up. I emailed the manager of the radio station a couple days ago and all he said was "more information soon".

We'll probably hear some info on the next few weeks. Weezer just announced an April 1st release date for their new album, so it won't be long now.

It's just probably first of the zillions of rumours of the new album.
Doesn't sound too legit to me. Doomed User is a Team Sleep song.

So, the album is called Gore and there's a song called Acid Hologram? Evidently Deftones are putting out an early 90's prog metal album.

And that tracklisting has already been taken down. Maybe Deftones management caught wind and had them get rid of it? I dunno, it's a legit radio station, right? *shrugs* Either way, if there isn't a new single/announcement in the next few days, then the March 18th date is bullshit.

And I don't think Doomed User being on this tracklisting automatically makes it fake. Deftones have "borrowed" Team Sleep songs before (Teenager, Lucky You) and Chino has recycled song titles before too (You've Seen the Butcher was some weird Eros-era instrumental before it became the song we know).

Still, "Acid Hologram", "Pittura Infamante" and "Geometric Headdress" don't really sound like Deftones titles to me. I'm not sure why, exactly, but they don't. They sound more Tool-esque.

Did anyone get a screenshot or anything before they took it down? And who/what was the source? I love me some rumors and speculation 8)

Interesting.........
Where was this found? Someone mentioned a radio station posted it?

Gore would be an awesome album title. Tracklist sounds like something one of those kitschy prog metal bands like Periphery would call their songs, though. I'm skeptical if this is legit.

ANattyRat

It's funny, for how random their album/song titles are, it just doesn't seem Deftones-like at all. Plus the only reason the release date got pushed back was so they could take their time naming everything, right? I mean, the music was already done.

Maybe this finally gets their PR's asses in gear to make an official announcement today

Today? That's awfully optimistic thinking 'round these parts.

.....but fuck that would be awesome!

Chino did mention Martin Gore's influence on him not too long ago. Even if that tracklist is complete bullshit, "Gore" as an album title wouldn't be that big of a stretch.
