hey, you should check out a band called Khoma. they've just released an album. two guys from Cult of Luna play guitar. they're pretty much a soft and more mainstream-oriented version of CoL. but only in a positive way. check them out, the album is called "The Second Wave".

I made a thread about them but only one replied.
They're like a mixture between Sigur Ros, Cult Of Luna and Radiohead and that album is great as is the earlier release, "Tsunami" (they were under the name Koma back then). I've been lately listening to them a lot.

+ Met the singer/guitarist afterwards and he was pretty cool. But he thought they played a shit show, because he couldnt hear himself all the way through, but we re-assured him. Told him how amazing the new album is and he said 'Yeah, thanks, I know haha! I've done 7 albums and this is the one that I am most proud to be part of'. Cool to hear those words from them straight at you! Then he signed my ticket!
+ Got a few decent-ish pics (man I need a new camera, especially for those gigs which are darkly lit)
+ Pizza and chips
+ The fact I can walk home comfortably after a gig at 1 in the morning without freezing my bollocks off
+ Easy classes
+ Heading out Sunday with a big group of folks which should be cool, as long as they dont cancel at the last minute
