[one weak]

+ finally, after over 60 hours of editing, $1200, 13 rolls of film and a mere 6 1/2 minutes to show for it, i've finished my final film for 16mm!!
+ it turned out pretty good and i'm really excited that the sound mix went well with all my SFX and music fades.
+ screeening tomorrow morning then entering it into a local festival
+ begin digital post-production next semester and no more dealing with "hand editing"

- 18-20 page paper for my Hitchcock class due next monday
- finals exams next week
+ begin summer next week!!
- need a job badly...so badly

It sounds like you do a really cool class in college. Is it Film class?

yeah. i'm a souble major in film studies: critical studies in film and film production. i love it and it's one of the only film schools in the US to offer students the opportunity to take both critical studies and producation classes

Oh goodluck, I hope you faired well. I had one of those but I bailed out cause I didn't think my work was good enough to show. Mind you I haven't done anything rivetting this year either but I'm going to get into my art making when I finish my first semester at college. I miss it. Oh man, how freaky is it to just sit there while they analyse your work. I would be going absolutely mad.

yeah to be honest i pretty much hated the stuff i took with me, but its all i've done recently so i had to grin and bear it. didn't even matter anyway, that stupid bitch spent like 5 minutes with me...probably wanted to go on a coffee break or something, she barely looked at any of my work and then just dismissed me.
well, i got accepted to the preparatory course but i cant go to that anyway. *sigh*
