-------- When I was about 16 I was kicked out by an abusive drunken stepfather for no reason and my mother didn't stand up for me because she was afraid of being alone so she chose him over me. In this time I had nowhere to go and no family to turn to. My best friend Josh and his father Dave took me in with no questions asked. They let me live with them as long as I needed until I finished school, got a job, and was able to get my own place. I've never been more grateful for two people in my life who only wanted to help me and never asked anything in return. Today I heard that while driving through Mexico, Dave lost control of his bike and was killed. He was a one of a kind man and the kind of father I could only wish I had. He had a huge impact on my life and I think I'm the most upset that I'll never get to truly pay him back for all he did for me. I'll miss him a great deal and wish he knew how much his kindness meant to me in a very troubling time in my life. RIP Dave.

If you want good sound quality then you need to worry about how much memory you're going to want.  HQ music files take up more space.

R'NF man.if you want some honest advice,DON'T buy a ipod.I've had 8.From the 2nd gen 80gig to the 2nd gen 32gig touch and plentin between.the 3 I still have collect dust in a cigar box now.trust me,if you care about your tunes quailty and your wallet get a android phone and get a app called db poweramp.its about 5 dollars us.or if your real you unistall/reinstall every 14 days.
Let me tell you the advanges of this over a ipod.
1.expandable memory-ipods are set memory.what you buy is what you get.all androids are expandable(mostly up to 32gigs)and its easy to just switchcards.a32 gig card is quite cheap if you search around(about 40 us).
2.more format flexabillity-there are a few formats ipods wont play(though you can hack the older ones to do this it can brick it if you make a mistake)db poweramp will play any format except hd formats(lpcm,dts,ds,5.1 ogg,24-bit flac)but 90% of people don't have this stuff anyway.you can't unuseable formats,like flac with itunes either.
3.no additional softwear required -itunes is garbage.its a cpu hog,and a lil invassive.with this you drag and drop to your phone,done.
4.better gui-very customized, you can choose to select by tags,or folers.builtin EQ.download. missing art,etc.iplus you can edit tags and delete,convert tracks right on the phone.t reads. Cue,m3u,m3u3 and any other
playlist file.reacks to all headphone remotes,designed for mobile.plenty of options to make it right for you.
5.durabillity-ipods are made cheap.use it enough,headphone jacks die,whells mess,screens crack.I droped a ipod touch once and spidercracked it.I
dropped my touchscreen droid over 50 times at least.stiil no deep scrathes or cracks.
6.bluetooth-stream music from your home pc

My phone is a lg optimus.about 250 when it came out,around 100$ now.newer versions are around 200$ now.there many budget phones that will run this as well,though there not really meant for those with bighands.any droid phone will run it.


Only real downside-battery life.this only occurs if have battery wastings on your phone(wifi,3g).if you watch that,you can get about 12 hours on a full charge.
