I agree actually this song has a lot of layers and i didnt pay attention to how chino does it live. I saw the original instrumental and got excited, thanks for listening though

Are you using auto-tune? if so...maybe lose it.
Are you using a chorus effect? ...maybe tone that down a bit.

I wouldnt try and "polish" your vox.
Envelope the original songs you cover and make them yours. but leave a RAW quality on your vox.
Maybe lose the vibrato effect, because that just doesnt fit the song too.
when adjusting the EQ on your vox, lower your highs, and push the mid's.

i recommend studying Battle-Axe. and good luck!

andyclayton

no theres no effects, just a double delay

this was just for fun

thanks

Jacob

I like your voice, man. keep it up. don't be afraid to go a little crazy with it. you seem to have good control. I especially like the vibrato on "belieeeeveee".
pray nightfall release me
then i could wander, wander to deep sleep

Nice job on both tracks.....excited to hear more.

Drinks won't stain this birth!

Teknoman

Nice man! you have a soft and clear voice tone, i wish i could sing that good :/

I make music too

Starz

Nice work!

Vox need to sound a bit more thicker: layer the vocals over one another basically. And maybe use a pop shield/de-esser to get rid of those "p" and "s's" you sometimes hear. And more reverb/delay/chorus.

Penicks

your voice is too clean for my liking, maybe smoke some more fags and drink more scotch?
