It's a wrap for Gauze. Wakka wakka.

In this thread, I predict Graphic Nature is gone. I don't even have to vote.

Graphic Nature is tight. Y'alls opinions are incorrect! This is a fact.

I voted for Goon Squad. Those screams (woo's) in the choruses completely kill the song for me. Otherwise I like it, has an ATF vibe to it.

But we apparently all don't have the same record...

The woo's are just echoes, don't mind them. I love Graphic Nature but I think I'll have to vote it out now. Would've sent it out before Gauze to be honest.

Graphic Nature is probably going to get more votes than Goon Squad, but i still have to go for Goon Squad

I want graphic nature to win. The worst song on the album must survive!

The breakdown of Goon Squad is fantastic. However, I definitely prefer the other remaining songs

Havoc

Deftoolsys7 nailed it. My thoughts exactly. Bye Goon Squad.

rosemary. the beginning of the song is great but as the song goes on it gets a little annoying. i wouldn't mind if the whole song was beginning-like with the delayed guitar, chino, bass and effects. no steph,no abe and a little shorter

Ah, what's the point.  Poltergeist doesn't deserve to be the winner, I can tell you that, so I voted for it but I see it probably will be.

Well, Graphic Nature, same as last time. Next vote is gonna be a hard one for me.

as for now, poltergeist and goon squad are currently at best positions. it's a little funny that many people always praise deftones because they try new things, change their sound, and ppl want fresh ideas - yet when it's voting times, songs like whty and entombed get smoked at the getgo... and standard old school songs like poltergeist and goon squad are frontrunners. Maybe something to think about next time there's a new album .. maybe keep it down with all the wishing for new things.. deftones just can't handle things outside their comfort zone. you want them to, but they can't.  let's just look at it with sober eyes next time. be careful what you wish for, it might come true

i just remember when we had poltergeist, back when it was roller derby for months as bootlegs, we where just a few who got instantly hooked, most just didnt get it...

i dont buy the "quality wasnt good enough" argument...

people just dont know good shit when its in front of them.

the thing is, this goes for the soft/slows songs in this record too. they are good songs. then why people disregarded them?

well...ive already answer that.

That seems to be the theme within this community, but I doubt the wider, more casual fanbase sees it that way. I was beyond shocked to see Swerve, Entombed, etc. hated on so much here. On some other more general music boards I frequent, those were just as commonly listed as favorites as the ones that are left in this poll.

Also, I always knew Rosemary would unjustly lose to Poltergeist at the end, but I'll be damned to hell if Goon squeaks by it too next round. Just kind of proves your point beyond a doubt if it does.
