i dont want the band get disappointed about this, so i'm going to buy my own copy of KNY and post the pic of it here to proof that I respect the band by buying the album.

I like to think a leak wont stop anybody here from buying it.if you don't own all there albums,you shouldn't be here in the first place.I'm sure there's plenty of assholes here who haven't,and will not own any of there music though,came here for the leak and bounced,shame on you.

My preorder is on the way and it's a tradition since White Pony for me to go to the record store on release day and pick up a copy. I go to shows when I can, I have an extensive Deftones collection and about 6 t shirts and 2 hoodies among other such merch. I like to think I do more than my fair share for this band. I think this album is going to be a big seller.

Well, I'm not certain if I will buy the compact disc, but I am planning on buying it on vinyl, along with a t-shirt. I am enjoying the leak as well, matter of fact I've got Gauze on full blast at work. My financial contribution still counts, right? Vinyl and CD sales go hand-in-hand.

I've already pre-ordered it. I was surprised wen they said their sales have suffered because of it. To me, I've always assumed fans of the band will buy the CDs, casual fans will usually buy the CDs, and anyone who doesnt like it will listen to the leak and choose not to buy it, but then wont listen to the leak either. I guess some ppl do like the music, but not enough to buy it. Presumably casual fans.

I'm just taking a shot in the dark here, but i think maybe KNY would be the wrong album to choose when trying to get someone into Deftones. I'm thinkin White Pony, ATF, MAYBE even SNW???

I'll be buying the CD on release date from my local music store.  I like to support that store as well as my favorite bands because it's kind of a throw back store where you can get just about anything.  I don't want it to go out of business like most of the others.  I also want a vinyl if it comes out.  Good Squad would sound sick on that.

I ordered the cd from amazon, should be here tuesday along with black ops 2. as much as i love the band the bundle on the website wasnt enough to entice me to get it.
