Nothing better than waking up in the morning and going out and buying the latest Deftones CD. I have specifically taken Monday off work to spend all day listening to the new album. I like to be part of the whole experience, that excitement you get when holding CD in your hand. You definitely can't get the same feeling when listening to a shitty leak through ya MacBook Pro speakers...

Koi No Yokan is leaked, and we enjoying it for free.
i dont want the band get disappointed about this, so i'm going to buy my own copy of KNY and post the pic of it here to proof that I respect the band by buying the album.

I preordered as soon as I could, trying hard to resist the temptation of that leak. The only Deftones song I can recall not paying for was the soundtrack version of Teething (not exactly a fan of most of those artists) and Like Linus (which is only because of rarity, if I saw any stores carrying a copy, I'd buy it in a heartbeat). I'm pretty dedicated to paying for their stuff, overall.

Pre-ordered the disc on Amazon for $10.99. Free release-day delivery. I'd definitely encourage everyone to do that if they can't afford the bundles, as opposed to bending over for iTunes and hastening the industry's transition to only offering us compressed lossy digital files for the price we used to get CDs. /soapbox

I did the bundle preorder and the itunes preorder. I also plan on checking out the newbury comics here too, sometimes they have cds with the signed booklet in store so Ill take a gamble on that too.

I'm glad someone started this thread because I've been having a real tough time trying to get my hands on this album, since I live in India.  I have stayed away from the leaks mainly because this is a band I respect and follow religiously...so I'd much rather pay for a CD quality version especially for the first listen. However, iTunes & Amazon do not support music downloads for India - so those options are out.  Ordering on Amazon with International Shipping comes to almost the same price as the Limited Edition Bundle.  And last time with Diamond Eyes, it took over a month to reach me which was fucking painful.  I would love to order the limited edition set as well, but you won't even believe what the total comes to with shipping.  There is one website which allows legal purchases of music - India's version of Amazon...but for any Warner Bros music...they only offer 128 kbps versions! Fuck that! 

So basically now my options are : 1. wait for someone to come down from the US 2. wait for my next trip to the US 3. the above options.

I'm really tempted to just download the leaked copy and listen to it and just wait it out for a month till the CD version arrives...which kind of sucks.  I have no idea why they don't at least have a bandcamp site setup where we can pay direct and downloading HQ copies of the music...like how they did with Crosses.

Sorry about the rant but I'm a little annoyed that in this day and age I am still restricted by geography.

I'd just download the leak and let that tide you over until you get the cd, but if you're really against downloading the leak, it is streaming now so you can get your fix

Bah. My pre-order still is not here. It says it'll be here "by the end of the day". I guess I'll just sit here and wait. They've also not let my download the digital version of the album yet despite it being, you know, released by now. Well that sucks.

Did you check the right e-mail? I'm waitng on mine as well today, but I was able to download my digital version, but the strange thing is that "what happened to you" wasn't included in the digital download.
