From the PRP web

It should come as little surprise that the Deftones have a new music video in production for their new single "Tempest". Director Christopher Mills (Modest Mouse, Interpol) has been tasked with directing the clip, which should begin airing in the coming weeks.
A digital single for the song itself is expected to arrive tomorrow, October 09th. The group will follow it with the November 13th release of their new album, "Koi No Yokan".

Probably. The only video of theirs I like is Bloody Cape.

Sextape is the best video yet. For all the wrong, non-artistic reasons.

Yeah, pretty much all of their videos suck.  I'm of the opinion that most of the time, if not all the time, bands shouldn't be in their videos.  Music videos should be like short films that fit the music.  Why would I want to watch a band miming their songs in some random setting?

this tenfold. what an absolute waste of time with a video just showing a band playing. this is particulary noticeable in 'emo' bands or bands with very little artistic merit which seem to be an advertisement for how cool they think they look, equipped with perfectly crafted haircuts, and tight jeans

for the record though, change is my favourite deftones' vid

They just hardly got it right that's all apart from a few videos.

Bands appearing in videos sometimes works - Pantera's '5 Minutes Alone' for example.

YSTB and Minerva are pretty damn good videos.
