Koi No Yokan thread

I know I'm going to get destroyed for this but I'm just going on gut feeling here:

4. Adrenaline

KNY could drop down in time, obviously, or it could not, but I'm listing what my favourites are NOW. And right now I personally think it's the best record they've ever put out. SNW usually jumps all over the place, too. To me it's always been a really disjointed album so I can never quite place it. Not into it a huge amount at the moment.

But hey, they haven't released anything I'd even come close to saying was a bad album. They are too damn consistent.

Has anyone listened to this record while fucked up yet? I have only listened to it while completely sober. Didn't one person say they were going to listen to it on shrooms? Kinda curious as to what that experience was like.

Word. Yeah, I think adrenaline is at the bottom of everyone's list because it's the oldest - and honestly, it's a great album.. but their other albums offer waaaay more.

adrenaline is considered a true classic among many,many long time fans. it's just that a lot of those ppl turned their back on deftones when they released snw and aren't here anymore. checkout any old thread when albums are ranked, snw is always at the bottom. with the d.e bandwagon though, a lot of new fans joined and they just don't understand the greatness of those songs, partly bc of poor production i would guess. but it's ok, like whatever for whatever reasons

Yeah, those songs do come across that way live. I think they kinda carry over their "newer" tone/sound with those older songs. Sounds great. Mostly due to Steph's newer guitar tone

I still think it sounds awesome.  Just listen to Fireal if you want to be reminded how awesome it is.

anyone saying this album is their best album might be insane. lets get real here. its a decent album, every time one of your fav bands puts out an album, theres this major excitement and you think every song is the best ever, then 6 months to a year later, you re- evaluate. I doubt in 5 years people will regard KNY as a true masterpiece lol
