Wait what's the image on the CD???

It's just white, I think.

Really??? Errghh

Can someone confirm or post a pic?

holy mother of fuck, this album is great... like, next level great.

start to finish, a great listen. the pacing is fantastic. sonically, it is SO lush, but still has enough of that abrasive, fist-clenchy, bubbling below the surface anger to counterbalance to soaring stuff.

absolutely phenomenal. in the moment gut call, this is at least top 3.
we could be two straight lines in a crooked world.

Warner are a bunch of fools if they don't release this on LP. These are the sort of albums that medium was made for. But even the promo posters just say it's only available on CD and download. Maybe they're waiting to see how many units the record sells in the first couple of months to justify production costs and audience demand...

support the band you love. i cant emphasize this enough. its a MUST if you wish they continue to perfect their craft for many albums/years to come. dont be stingy.

Yea, as in no design whatsoever. If they had embossed the tray art onto the CD, that would have been absolutely BOSS.

After a couple listens to let things settle in I have to say that I am still super impressed with Koi No Yokan. The album is gold. Also, I like the simplistic CD design: I NEED that physical copy. :P

Is it me, or the song "Ever" from team sleep would have fit right into that album?

If there was any Deftones album to listen to on vinyl this is the one.    Chino's guitar playing has come a long ways since White Pony

976-EVIL

Listen I am 40 years old, I first saw the band during the Around the Fur tour in Vegas 100 years ago it seems, I lurked this site for years before I joined and honestly the only reason I did is because I liked the handle "976-EVIL" when DE came out and I did not want anyone else to get it

I dont post often because I like reading everyone's opinion because I already know my own. After engaging on the board I have found that there are alot of diehard true Deftones fans here. Some of the video and live performances I have seen here (that I could not have enjoyed as easily otherwise) make me greatful (you know who you are Gents) for the contibutions that have made my life and love of my favorite band better and stronger.

As for the "New Blood"? As long as the input is thoughtful, passionate and worthwhile I am all for it. We were all Noobs once....

BACK TO KNY...Holding out till the 13th, it is killing me guys...Love hearing your opinions on the record, very excited, so tempted to download it....
One last Thing...You Should Beware the Content!!

Thank God that you........ love..... at all.

Man, this place is brimming with excitement for the new album. and at first I was worried that we would all disagree, but from reading everyone's opinions.. I'd say for the MOST part most of us all have the same opinion on the album which is:
KNY IS FUCKING AWESOME!!
DEFTONES 4 LIFE
