Gah I'm on probably my 7th listen, maybe 8th.. and it's just now "sinking" in for me.. so strange how it takes that many listens for me to really "grasp" some of these songs. I love this album guys. So glad we finally got it! I knew today would be the day!

When i first listened to goon squad .. the intro made me think of who i am for some reason .. and all the stupid crap i do .. and as the song built up with that bass and it all started i was just ready to burst .. and wanted to break everything in sight .. dont know why i got this kind of feeling for goon squad .. but i love it..

Does anyone else not 'get it' when it comes to Graphic Nature? I am on first listen right now, currently playing Tempest. Mind is totally blown except Graphic. It damn near killed my good mood....

I feel the same way about Swerve City, after my 2nd listen. Im usually pretty understanding on every deftones song but Swerve City does nothing for me. Maybe I need to sleep on it.

Every song resonated immediately except Graphic and What Happened...though for some reason Deftones end tracks either take forever to grow on me or they dont at all (Minus MX/Damone). I am so glad we got it too. And a quick shout out to DECAPOD!! I hope you are listening and enjoying the fuck out of it bro, you needed this

Never had this first time listening buzz with any other of their records.
Romantic dreams is up there with one of the most amazing tracks iv ever heard.

It's so beast. Funny thing is that I was actually wanting a record that was a lot more mellow (in terms of Deftones anyways) because Chino's melodies are what makes me love them more than anything. But man that fucking riff....That entire song, the chorus to Gauze, the bridge in Rosemary and Romantic Dreams are all better than anything since WP. Well "better' is subjective. I like this album more than anything since WP....and I do not think this is just the excitement talking either. Only time will tell if this has the staying power of WP/ATF, but so far so good!
