There is just no pleasing some people, Weeks of complaining about no leak and peoplf keeping it to themselves... now we all got it and peoplf are complaining about Lyric threads and the mods... Fucken hell... I didn't know about this place till about 4 days ago and I'm grateful for finding it and being able to talk with fellow fans and grab the new disc...

And that's cool. But as someone who's been here for like 10 years or something, it's got the potential to be so much more. It has been before.

Alright, I just thought I should say something. I'm a long time user of these boards and I've contributed in lots of ways. You're right, I don't know. But as a user, fan of the band and forum member, I know my shit. But indeed, back on topic...

EDIT: And as a 'Stock Owner', my opinion should probably be taken seriously. Again man, not a personal dig though. I'm not gonna cry or anything.

Don't get me wrong man, I don't want to sound full of myself (which some/lots of you probably think). I know you're a long-time user, lots of people have been on here for longer than I have, but it's just a whole new perspective you can't correctly conceive as long as you haven't experimented how it actually goes. I remember I was pretty critical regarding Jacob's moderation, we even pm'd about it because his overall action sounded abusive to me, exactly the way mine looks abusive to some of you. Little did I know. It is just impossible to moderate this place AND make everybody happy. But because you're a moderator, you still have to find a solution that gets as close to that goal as possible. Some people will say "lol stop talking about it in a way to make it look like its the worst task in the world". Of course it's not, but you know what? It's not easy.

Word. I'm thankful for this place too.. It's nice to chat with other Deftones fans. Most of my friends either aren't into them anymore/or don't listen to them.. The ones that do are casual Deftones fans.

I'm sure it isn't either. I wasn't ripping on Ves. I respect him. Just throwing my 2cents out there or whatever. The more people that stick around instead of disappearing now the record has leaked, the better.

Sorry that so many on here feel the need to be pricks. Vesanic is a nice person from all my interactions with him. And I think he does a good job of trying to moderate the forum without getting all power hungry about it. I've been trying to help. But I agree with him that it's difficult because this part of the board has become a fucking mess lately. We try to clean it up and everyone get's butthurt. If you all dislike this place then go make your own fucking forum. I'm just impressed that he doesn't ban more people. rock n frost deserves a permanent ban in my opinion. blondie can fuck off too. neither have ever done anything but bitch. Like I said, go make your own fucking forum you fucking whiny bitches. Vesanic does not over-moderate. If you don't like how he does it, then do what I did and ask Nuno if you can be a mod. Then you will see how hard it is. BTW that's not a dig at Vesanic. I didn't ask to become a mod because I dislike the way he moderates. I asked because I could tell he needed help.

I have noticed recently that Chino is trying to take over a lot of the guitar, he plays the intro to leathers and Rosemary, on sex tape he played most of it.... I wonder how Step feels about this
