You should. You always post illegal Deftones live bootlegs on here, which is disgusting and selfless. It's sick, hateful, and also a federal crime. Not to mention breaks the SL rules and guidelines. How is the band going to make any money if you share clips of songs that people recorded with their cell phones during one of their shows? Trick question - they're not! And as a SL "Stock Owner" (meaning I've contributed CA$H MONEY to help keep this forum alive), I do not care for how you handled yourself and not share this new Deftones album that each of us fans are entitled to. If I want to pay for the CD and buy a copy, I will. But ONLY after I download a copy for free to see if I like it. If I don't like a couple of songs, then I am not going to spend my hard earned money on that CD, but at least I will still have a copy...

Edit: I feel I need to let everyone know that I am kidding. Some people here I'm sure won't be able to detect an iota of sarcasm...

I'm not being a dick or anything man, but this place used to be a thriving community. I've been on this board since, like.. '02 maybe? Honestly, I'm one of the biggest fans of this band. I've seen this forum evolve and change over the years, people come and go etc. Way, way before it was SharingLungs. I don't post here anywhere near as much as I used to either to be honest. And I have to say, this place seems over moderated.

When a new record used to come out there would be loads of new threads. And that's what a forum is for, you know? What's wrong with a new thread for each song, or a thread for all the different elements of the new record? The release of a new Deftones record is a chance for the place to grow and get really active again because, in all honesty, compared to what it used to be this place is dead.

I'm not slagging you off man. I'm just saying, let the community grow. Some things just don't need to be moderated so heavily. Keeping the discussion of this album to one topic is suicide for this place.

So many chills right now.. if i'm so naturally high off this album already, i can't even imagine burning one and taking it for a ride. Soon enough!

I did just that as soon as I got the first leak. Burned it to a cd, smoked a bowl, and went driving along the country side..
This album is just incredible..
Entombed is still giving me chills.. 

Does it sound alright? I was going to wait for a 320.. i've only been able to listen to this on some shitty small speakers.. so when I take this for a ride, it'll be like hearing it all for the first time again. Then onto the headphones..

I guess the album has leaked already. Wow, they did a great job keeping it under wraps for so long. I hope it sells over 1,000,000. They deserve it.
I get excited just listening to the 30 second clips, so I can just imagine how happy I'll be on November 13th. The day before my birthday, the Deftones release this album. Talk about an early gift! :^D

I'm not disagreeing man. You have a job to do and you do it well, of course. But the discussion of all elements of this record cannot be kept to one topic. It doesn't work like that and it stops this place coming back to life.

I'm not saying let the place go crazy. And I agree there's been lots of trolling. Of course everything should still be organised, but just let it grow man. New topics and discussion here is a good thing. I'm not gonna say you're shit or anything because obviously you're not. I never fancied being a moderator here myself, so props man. But threads on different songs, lyrics, themes etc.. It can only be a positive step to making this place come alive again, right?
