I wish I knew if this guy was legit. Would be kind of fun to figure out the clues if there was KNY as a reward.

Guess what? NO one gives a FUCK. Get lost troll

You are a very hostile little guy....You should rub one out or something, relieve some of that tension.

I seriously hope you run your dumbass into oncoming traffic.  You're a waste of space douche nozzle

Calm down there girl.  You are a very angry little girl and there is no reason for that.  Ask your mom for some mall money so you can go to Express and lighten up a little bit.  It will all be ok in an hour and a half sweetheart.

Am I correct in guessing the clue has to do with CMND/CTRL?

So. How about some more snippet reviews? It'd feel pointless if not for the past few pages.

Swerve City: far from what I expected based on the few reviews that have mentioned it. Ridiculously upbeat and chill by this band's standards. The part in the clip kind of draws from 90s space rock like Failure and Hum.

Romantic Dreams: when I play this in my head, I literally can't help but hear Billy Corgan's voice replacing Chino's in the chorus. The most retro 90s clip of them all. That chorus easily could've been on Gish or Siamese Dream.

Poltergeist: sounds so much better than the live recordings suggested. The chorus is just mesmerizing. So pumped that one of their aggressive songs finally has some melodic substance to it (WGTB is the only other in their catalog, IMO). Probably going to be one of my favorites next to Rosemary.

Entombed: very promising, as everyone seems to agree. I just hope we haven't blown our load early by hearing the chorus, and then the verses turn out to be as boring and subdued as a Crosses track </flamesuit on>.

Graphic Nature: grabbed me the least on first listen. Now I think it may be that we're hearing a verse, whereas all the others are choruses. If so, the verse is pretty cool actually. Need to hear it all.

Gauze: sounds great, but I'm surprised so many creamed themselves over it and thought it was the highlight. It's another 90s throwback, but sounds a little less adventurous. In fact, the chorus is almost similar to a fault to 976-EVIL. However, I can hear just enough to suspect there's some texture and detail these clips aren't letting through very well.

Goon Squad: groovy. Verse sounds like it might be really similar to Poltergeist -- hopefully not too much so -- but it's hard to get a great idea from just 4-5 seconds. The chorus is more conventional Deftones than most of the others, which sure ain't a bad thing.

WHTY: love the parallel in the chorus to Swerve. Not sure I'll love the verses as much, but even if this disappoints a little I won't mind, given how excited I am for the rest.

So funny how everyone sees the band in different ways. Gauze to me sounds nothing like 976, and the Goon Squad chorus IMO is quite a bit different than "usual". I love Swerve, and actually it sounded a lot like I thought it might. That and Gauze are my favorites. Gauze feels like Chino is emotionally tired, trying to hold on to something but he is becoming exhausted by it (not physically). I love how Deftones convey that emotion, and everyone gets a different vibe from it.

Sorry for typos, working and typing at the same time. Off in 4 mins and hopefully headed home to get ready for some KNY!

Agree with your summary of Gauze, it has the feeling its about reaching breaking point

I have o idea what the sugar cube means? Maybe taste, which Chino loves. What are the clues supposed to help us find? A link? An answer that opens a link? (I know he is trolling, but I willing to try in case not)
