I've got plenty of patience. From the preview, the album seems more than worth the wait.

Everyone's concerns about a softer side of the Deftones are pretty funny. Chino is in Crosses and Team Sleep, and both are brimming with softness. This is the same band that has released 'Diary of an Uninteresting ...' and 'Teenager'. I would expect as they get older to mellow out. Also, everyone's pop concerns are unfounded. The band make music for themselves. There are no overt radio salvos. If something hits the airwaves, so be it.
