I wonder how long they are planning on touring for KNY (2013 wise)

I hope a lot, because i want to see them in Italy and right now there isn't gigs planned here...

could you new members stop quoting thousand times your conservations?

You say that as if the "Almighty" older members don't?

Patronising dude.......... :/

Yeah. They aren't coming very close to where I live either. The one date that they are, it's my child's birthday so I'm gonna skip on that date in Dallas. But I'm hoping in 2013 for some more tour dates, perhaps one in New Orleans would be sweet.

I hope it is a short tour.....Chino needs to rest his voice so he can scream all over those Palms tracks that are awaiting him.   I wanna hear that shit!

I think it's already done? Think they're just waiting to release it sometime next year. And I'm not holding my breath for a lot of screaming on it. It might sound completely different from what we're expecting. Although I'm sure there will be some screaming - I think a lot of it will be dark melodies with Chino singing. Either way it'll definitely be interesting. I can't wait.

"The music's all been recorded and everything, and obviously I've been engulfed in the Deftones record. But I told them as soon as I was done, we would record the vocal stuff. He continued: "the songs are long as hell, so it's like a full LP. I don't know what it'll be like or when it's going to be done or released, but it's a project I think is pretty rad."

Long time reader second time member...kinda forgot my username and password since diamond eyes. So I had to make like a 5 hour drive yesterday and on the way up I listened to S/T then SNW followed by ATF, Adrenaline, and the the B-sides Rarities disc (which by the way I forgot how good that cd is) The funny thing is on the way home I popped in White Pony and didn't change cd's until I had listened to it 4 times in a row. The face that Koi No Yokan is being compared to WP has me so pumped. That really is a perfect cd in my opinion :)

Yeah i don't think Chino's vocals are done he's only done a a bit,i don't know if you can expect screaming either he said it's not just Isis with him as vocalist and alot of people will be suprised

Listened to it three times in a row while laying down in bed. Away from the computer. I'm excited for this. They sound confident, songs sounds cohesive and have punch to them. I like the flow of the tracks. As most people, I'm excited for Entombed and What Happened To You?.
..Yeah don't go there,

I let you get to me

yeah yeah.

Yeah man, I can leave WP or really any Deftones cd in my car cd player for a week straight and be completely ok with it.

If you were going to the one in dallas but couldnt make it then you should go to the san antonio one .. oh and if i do recall deftones diamond eyes tour lasted about 1 yr and a half .. they came to dallas 2 times on that tour i believe .. one was on oct 18 2010 and the other one i forgot but they came kinda unexpectedly .. they added a few more north american dates to the places they liked the most maybe or something? Idk i just remember being surprised that they were back so soon on the same tour ..

the chorus of poltergeist on studio sounds much better. almost a dischord going on sounds very dissonant.

Okay fuck it. I'm listening to the previews.

Well I'm a fan since WP, and I've been here I think since before ST (with a dif. user account), and I love the new stuff. Keep in mind I loved and still love Diamond Eyes, not as much as the perfect combi of ATF and WP but it comes in at third place in my book, just because the album is so cohesive and energetic. Ive listened to most of the sound clips on amazon and I have to say I love the energy here as well. Its like Diamond Eyes but more open, more spacy, to me it feels like a combination of WP and Diamond Eyes. Sure, there's not a lot of screaming to be found and that seems to be the only downside, but unlike many others I also love Chino's 'normal' singing these days. And I love that I can hear the drums a lot better here than on Diamond Eyes. To me, Abe's drumming is one of the key features that makes 'Tones sound unique and I missed it on Diamond Eyes. They have more oomph on Koi no Yokan.

Fave sample? Romantic Dreams, no doubt. That chorus is so epic, so groovy, so goosebump inducing. Im already in love with that song and ive just heard 30 seconds.

Yeah. I was contemplating that. But they usually make at least one stop at the House of Blues in New Orleans. Plus, New Orleans has Bourbon St. haha!  8)
