Koi No Yokan thread

I'm flying from Oregon to New York to see Dredg play El Cielo (my favorite album of all time) on Friday night!   I sure hope Koi No Yokan leaks before then so I can listen to it on the plane ride!

Dude. I just checked out Dredg. They seem like beasts. Bug Eyes is great. Currently checking out their entire discography.

their last couple albums have been sadly dissappointing for me, but "el cielo" and "catch without arms" are two mainstays for me. dino campanella is a righteous drummer. he was the second drummer for crosses on the run of shows they did, actually.

I concur. Those two albums are top notch, but their newest stuff has been.. i dunno, just not even close to being as good. But there are a couple of songs I enjoyed from Priah, Parrot.. I haven't even checked out their newest album "Chuckles & Mr. Squeezy"

wish i could say it was worth it. the production is crazy strange to me. drums/guitar are either not present or rendered impotent. i'm all for evolution, as i've commented before, but it essentially sounds like gavin fronting a completely different band. i mean, power to them, but it's really not for me.

thankfully, deftones progression hasn't taken a turn like dredg's.

Well college in the UK is different to college in the US. You go to college (sixth form) before university.

Yet I do go to University next year.....shit my life is going fast haha.

I want to try and catch them, but I can't make it on any of these current dates.
