I just want the album to leak before tuesday. I'm going to a deftones concert on tuesday, and it just buggs me to go to a concert if I'm not familiarized with the latest studio album.

so far, they're only playing four songs from it live, three of which are readily available online.

just listen to those and live videos of poltergeist, and you're good.

Really? Cool. I'll do that (again). I still want the leak though. Contrary to a certain general opinion, the snipets make me think the album will be amazing. It sounds WP/DEFTONES to me...

If you REALLY want to support a band than spread the word on them, buy merch and go to a concert. That's how they get most of their money nowadays.

I really on buy CD's for the physical owning of it. I just get something from having it.

Agreed. Of course bands love it when their albums have thousands of sales. But they make most of their money from the merch & especially from ticket sales.

sure, do all that, but buy the album.

people need to realize the way the industry works a little better. deftones specifically have even talked about this, pretty recently if memory serves me. yes, they get most of their income from touring, but they still need to cover their advance to the record company. otherwise, during the next cycle, their budget gets cut and they're forced to hasten/cheapen the recording process and likely come out with a sub par product, if one at all.

buy the album. go see them play. spread the word.

I concur. Those two albums are top notch, but their newest stuff has been.. i dunno, just not even close to being as good. But there are a couple of songs I enjoyed from Priah, Parrot.. (Light Switch, Gathering Pebbles, Information)
I haven't even checked out their newest album "Chuckles & Mr. Squeezy"

Monday and Tuesday are short days and I have Wednesday off.

Hopefully the time should fly by, but I bet money that it will leak while I'm working hahaha. And I'll come home to this page blowing up.
