Koi No Yokan thread

I think I know why Swerve City appeals to me. I mean, I wanna hear the whole album of course, but you get certain songs you're more anxious to hear, and Swerve City is one for me. I think it's because, not only is it the opener, but it's also a pretty short song, and described as bouncy, catchy but heavy. I think it reminds me of Feiticeira, which is my favorite opener but also one of my favorite Deftones songs. I know Feiticeira isnt that short, but it definitely feels short wen I listen to it, but full of impact. So I think it's that kinda description of Swerve City that makes me think it'll have the same feel wen listening to it.

I feel like "Swerve City" is gonna be like a blend of Feiticeira/Street Carp/Korea - I'm solely basing that from the 2 seconds I heard in the clip LOL

I am thinking it's going to be like a modern ATF song Like a simple thumping riff and drums but with more of franks input,just the little bit i've heard reminds me of the chorus of lotion.

the gay thing is that the people that have the copies love deftones but theyre not real die hard fans i bet .. im sure somebody on here on SL has a copy ..but refuses to share ..its all one big mindfuck and a kick to the groin

True, but albums leak left and right all the time. You can't stop it from happening. Happens all the time.

it's not 2010 anymore. now labels/bands are simply more careful. one of my earlier anticipated albums was the last Lostprophets one and the same thing happened. i only got to hear it once it was out in germany few days before the US release date.

what else is new? first time i realized this was after 10 pages in this thread. "omg, this isn't a thread about the album anymore, it's a bullshit thread about everything". after a while i realized that it wasn't just a bullshit tread, it was a desperation thread, ppl just come here to vent and cope with their frustration about a waiting that's killing them... like seeing a terapeut listening to their anxiety - feels good to get a load of their chests. then when some guy constantly said "it will leak this friday" about every friday for the last two months, then it was determined: the koi no yokan thread is ridiculous

Obviously lol but I guess it woulda been like this with DE if it hadnt leaked so early. But because it's lasted so long (and well done to them for that, they must be happy about that), ppl are getting eager to the point of desperation. But, you know, time only ever goes forward, so...it'll come eventually.
