That sounds somewhat disappointing but I'm sure I'll still love it.  They haven't put out a bad album to this point.

After reading the review, im abit disapointed in the lack of track details, but it sounds like a cracking album,  for me it doesnt have to be all heavy for me to enjoy.
On a side note a close friend of mine likes the Deftones, but doesnt like the heavy/screaming earlier stuff.. This should be right up his street. [He loves tracks like Sextape, Digital Bath, Beauty School, Minerva, Cherry Waves and the new Tempest that i played for him]

And i agree with the above posters - White Pony = Hip hop feel? No No!

Hasitleaked.com stated that KNY is their most anticipated leak in a while. That's good to see that many people are amped to hear the new Deftones! They deserve that kind of fandom

I know everyone is dying to hear the album... but if youre anything like me, after the initial two or three listens which I consider the best part, youll be back waiting for more new music. Not implying it won't hold you over... obviously going to be nice to have a new tones record to chose from but that "hearing the album for the first time" moment is amazing and I hate to see it pass.

I still remember when I heard all of their albums (except adrenaline) for the first time. I don't mind waiting because I hate having that moment pass.
