Rosemary is nothing short of godly. This is why I love this band.

There Will Be Blood

I still say rosemary is missing something! I like it but not crazy about it.

I feel the same way.  Hoping the studio version is better.  On the other hand, I'm crazy about tempest!

Just wondering, have they ever been on SNL?

I'm sure at least one late night talk show for the new album. Saturday Night Live would be dope.

True, but I could see them pulling off Tempest and then Rosemary on SNL and them being somewhat okay with it. Or NBC should I say?

They deserve an SNL performance.. I mean, geez they're popular enough and they've been a band for over 20 years. They aren't poppy, but bands like Radiohead perform. They do every once in a while get good bands on there. But yea, I definitely see them playing on Conan or Jimmy Fallon.

Speakin of which, anyone see that awesome Refused performance a couple months back on Jimmy Fallon?

SNL tries to go for either Mainstream and pop radio or shit you'd find on Pitchfork or Coachella line up.

Yeah i think they deserve i doubt SNL would want them songs are too long and heavy and not as widely popular as they would want. But if they do perform on live tv it'll be one of those shows above

yeah. I definitely see them playing Jimmy Fallon. He likes good music and out of all late night tv hosts he usually has the best bands on, and I'm pretty sure he's a fan of the tones himself.

System of a Down played SNL when Mesmerize came out. From what I can remember, their set was censored twice in each song (BYOB & Aerials). As well, I've read that the stage is unusually small, the sound is horrible and the crowd is basically dead, reaction-wise.

SNL is a corporately sponsored husk of a show that was only ever good even when it was at its best. Of course it had its moments, but for the most part, it sucks. The Deftones can do better.

Yea, SNL sucks. I'd be happy for the band if they got on, but I doubt they'd even really care to play SNL or not. If they ever were going to play, it would have been back in their White Pony days or Diamond Eyes era. It's so corporate now, and it sucks.. SNL was once hilarious back in the day, but it's gone to shit now.
