aww arent you guys the best?
it was really simple actually, I used a plug in on protools called "x noise" which is perfect for
any cassette tape recording, takes the hiss right out. Then placed a limiter on top of that and BAM
I'll post a download link here as soon as I get home tonight

There's plenty of plugins in Pro Tools or whatever software you use that remove hiss and improve audio.

On another note, does anyone else think that Rosemary sounds like it's being played too slow? It almost sounds like they recorded it at a little faster tempo and then slowed it down afterwards. I'll try speeding it up soon to see what the result sounds like...

Yeah it's really flat. I still think the guitar should be heavier or punchier. I think it's the cassette thing. . I hope

It will be a lot better on the cd. The high frequencies are really muffled.
If you compare this overall sound to leathers and tempest, its completely different.
Trust me it will be 100 times better.

 Rosemary is the best song out of all the new material I've heard so far.  I love the atmosphere they created with that song.

i was just talking to a buddy about this earlier. especially the vocals. there's some weird enunciating going on that just doesn't sound right.

i don't think it sounds unnatural especially the verses. i hear what you say about the enunciation in parts of the chorus.

i'm not saying it's longer than it will be on the album. the cassette jacket lists the same running time. it just sounds like they slowed it down from the recorded material in the studio.
