I think the heavy part of rosemary in the end will be different on the cd. seems like its missing something, I bet it will have some kinda of chino guitar over it like how they play it live ( there is something there but I mean more )... any thoughts?

i never in my life read so many post about a leaked album, cant you "so call fans" shut up and wait 2 weeks. we all know if you get the leak copy you wont buy the album in the end. Yeah I want to hear the album right now, but im not bitchin 24/7 looking for it when it HAS NOT LEAKED YET.

Im pretty sure more than 80% of the people on this forum already pre ordered koi no yokan .. including me, yes i am on here alot to see news and especially to see if it leaks.. at this point now though idc if it leaks :/ if it does then im all in it to download it and jam to it but i already did my part and supported the band .. even if i wouldnt have pre ordered and it leaked i still wouldve bought the cd .. i love this band .. cant just rip em off and not pay for their amazing art

I have bought every single Deftones album, most of them multiple times(except DE, I still have my original copy!! ). Hell I probably bought ATF 5 times from being taking it with me everywhere when I would go out partying and then losing it. I have seen them live 9 times, and I have probably had over 20 shirts throughout the years. I imagine that people who feel actual pain and agony over the wait have and will support this band with real money just as I do.

I totally understand your point though. It's no mystery that half ass fans download the leaks without ever spending a dime, and it's a shame. I can't complain about people having a tendency to be impatient, I am obviously guilty of that, but support the artist. I know it's so cliche to say but it's true. Paying an internet bill does not entitle anyone to free music/video games/movies. I guess I try to make myself believe that everyone who cares enough to want the album early is also willing to put down some cash once it drops.

I think we all are guilty to have stolen music on the internet at one point. But if you are on this board it should mean your a die hard deftones fan that wants to support and see the band successful you should buy their music. Talking 24/7 about a LEAK or when it will happen or did it happen isn't right on here. The band comes on here and so does the record company. But who cares, not like you guys gonna listen to me.

Reviewable copies are tagged in a way that leaking it would reveal the source.
No smart person would leak it intentionally ...

That would be super easy to get around.

Please lol I downloaded all of their albums wen I first gt into them, then bought them all, then gt the DE leak, then bought the album. And I've pre-ordered KNY, but that doesnt mean I dont wanna hear it as soon as possible. If ppl are fans, they'll buy the album. If they dont give a fuck about the band, they'll download it for free and keep it as it is. I doubt anyone on here is gonna not buy the album provided they like it. That said, ppl are being super-obsessive tlking about two ppl have said it's leaked on hasitleaked and etc.; wen it does leak, this thread will blow up with opinions and whatnot.

For some reason, I feel like all the tlk about Swerve City being one of their heaviest songs in a while (and a few ppl have said that) isnt true. Like they exaggerate it or have different definitions of heavy. Heavy to me is like WGTB, so I dont see it being that kind of heavy. But hey, maybe I'll be pleasantly surprised. Sounds like it'll be a good, catchy, high-energy song either way.

Yeah that sounds like me but i make i point to buy deftones stuff and also local bands stuff just to support them,It does feel wrong about talking about a leak considering its practically the official deftones forum but its what your'e going to get when you have excited fans there always going to want it now,the guys understand that piracy is a part of the music industry now and people who post links to leaks get banned and that's all you can really do.Most of the people on here will actually buy it though.

You're spot on about swerve.  You won't find any WGTB type brutalness here

I've downloaded each leak, but always buy the album.  Hell I remember staying up all night downloading each individual White Pony track with the incorrect names on Napster for 2 nights in a row with my dial up connection, and when the record came out, I still BOUGHT the original version and the limited edition red (Sam Goody $17.98).....my college girlfriend bought me the limited edition black, and then I bought the re-release with back to school AND the Change single so I could hear Crenshaw and No Ordinary Love.  Oh and the back to school mini maggit ep.  Not to mention all the shirts, beanie, stickers, concert tickets.    So I'm fine downloading and rocking out to the leak and then buying the cd at Best Buy when it comes out......just like I have with their last 4 records.

Nope. As far as I know, there was no leak. Besides, if there were any links to a leak, someone's opinion of KNY would be found right above your post, so you wouldn't have to look that hard.

If your talking about swerve city its not because of the name the people who have hear it say its really heavy one guy said the heaviest deftones song ever

Probably best to judge for yourself. Other opinions can be way off the mark to your own sometimes.

The only leaks I have listened to were via YouTube - not sure if that is the same 'wrong'.

Definitely getting a solid album vibe for KNY so far and hope it doesn't disappoint in that sense.

Yea i don't tend to trust when press say its heavy because the majority of them think DE is the heaviest deftones record.

If it leaks %70 of music world is gonna download it

Imagine if %50 of those people buy their album. It would easly sell 400k units

I think those people who would download the leak then not buy the album wouldn't buy the album anyway they would just wait for it to release then download once someone rips it then
