Well, I agree, but think I know exactly what xLhabiax means. Fall has something really special about Deftones. I've always thought that.

Awesome but i cannot STAND METALSUCKS i fucking HATE AND DETEST that site. People are full of shit, I remember back in 03 the meatheads on there would bash deftones and lump them in with LB and Linkin Park, and they bashed chino when he was mad that they had to open up for linkin park and limp bizkit.

why would he mention that? that's only interesting to the hardcore fans who hang around a forum discussing which songs might be heavy and which ones might not.

not really. it's kind of intrical to any review, and i'd imagine anyone who's taken the effort to read the review would be interested.

What a terrible review. This thing is covered in fluff. I would be embarrassed to write something like this. He tries to sound sophisticated and high brow only to completely fail in actually communicating an analysis of the record. 

Metalsucks is a joke and is to reputable music sites as Howard Stern is to radio talk shows.

I read it and got more excited to hear the album as a whole. I like his descriptions and his analysis of the new Deftones sound. I'm glad it wasn't a play-by-play review. It left me wanting more!

There is no word to describe how a Deftones song sound.
It is music.
You have to hear it before liking it or hating it.
This guy probably thinks ''The Dark Knight'' movie is bullshit or he thinks ''It is the best movie of the year''
You cant know, everyone has different opinions.

But music reviews are different than movie and game reviews 
Because describing the sounds is way harder to describe what you see.

This reviews are just good for passing time and getting hype.
Dont take it seriously nor pass it.
