thank you very much, Alan.  i really rushed it, so there is definitely a little bit more i can do to it.  eliminating the hiss was the main focus, and it seems that turned out pretty well.  otherwise, i just need to readjust the bass and certain EQs, turn the master volume down a hair, and maybe master it a bit.  i'll be finished in at least three hours, so around 9 pm EST, i'll PM Alan and the people that blew up my inbox the link... the rest is up to them.    it's an exiting time to be a Deftones fan, ladies and gentlemen.

there is clearly no 'the' before the Ssss sound though.  given the subject matter, i'd bet money on Sea being correct.  we'll never know until official lyrics are out though.

alright guys, here's the 2nd mix i did.  not sure if many will be able to tell the difference... but it is mixed quite differently.  i had to sacrifice more HISS in this version for a better bass/treble mix, but oh well.  that's why i'm leaving both versions up.  i'm sending out PMs to a few people right now for the 320 on both versions.  much love.
